There is no such thing as the perfect exposure. Nor is there a perfect photograph. But that should never stop the photographer from seeking to find both, for it is in the very seeking that the best pictures find their way into the hands of others. I believe that photography is an art form. I strive to make each picture communicate something and to get the viewer involved with the scene presented within the frame. I want to make people wonder, remember, wish, dream.
When I am shooting for myself, I tend toward the exploration of common things that people pass by without thought every day of their lives. I try to make people realize what they're missing.
When I shoot for someone else, I spend a lot of time listening. I want to know what's important to you, what you want to communicate, how you want it to look. Then we tell stories together with light.
I am based out of Cedar Park, Texas (a suburb of Austin). I do fine art, portraiture, architecture, event and travel photography. Prints of my work are available directly from this website. I also do custom prints and products on a per-customer, per-order basis.
