Time to throw out a rule. Everyone knows that photographs must have a clearly focused subject. Right? Wrong.
Take a picture just to celebrate the absract beauty of the shapes, the colors, and the flow between them. Deliberately unfocus your lens, and look for the beauty of form, rather than the sharpness of subject.
